System Integration in Progress:
Claimant Self Service (CSS) & Employer Self Service (ESS)
Temporarily Unavailable
Monday, June 30th, 2025 to Monday, July 7th, 2025

DETR is preparing to launch the next phase of Nevada's Unemployment Insurance system modernization.

All Unemployment Insurance services - including online filing and phone support - will be temporarily unavailable from June 30th @ 4:00 p.m. to July 7th @ 8:00 a.m.

What Claimants Need to Know:

  • The new system will be available starting Monday, July 7th at 8:00 a.m.
  • You will be able to resume weekly filing or start a new claim if you are newly unemployed.
  • You will not lose any weeks of benefits you are eligible for during this downtime.
  • We will ensure a smooth transition and provide flexibility for anyone affected by the pause.

We understand how important your benefits are and appreciate your patience during this brief time.

Our new system is built with you in mind - faster, easier to use, mobile friendly, and more reliable than ever before.

What Employers Need to Know:

  • ESS will be back online Monday, July 7th at 8:00 a.m.
  • This downtime is part of connecting the already-launched employer system with the new claimant system.
  • All your account data, reports, and payment history will remain safe and intact.
  • You'll be able to resume all regular activities - including wage reporting, payments, and claim responses - once the system is live.

Thank you for your patience as we complete this important step. You are a valued partner in Nevada's workforce system, and we're committed to supporting you throughout this transition.
